We need your help urgently!
On Oct 7, 2023, an attack on Israel took place by an evil group. The loss of lives, the devastation of families, and the relative peace that Israel knew was now gone. So many throughout the state of Israel were impacted by the violent acts of Hamas. The horror of these acts not only sparked alarm throughout the country, but it also created awareness of need for better preparedness.
As a result, Nazareth Baptist School, whom we love, support and encourage, was forced to conduct all classes online until safety was established and they were able to attend in person once more. Once the students at NBS were allowed to return, the Ministry of Education, during a tour of the school, established that the school did not have any safe rooms for students if an emergency situation arose and students needed immediate shelter. Upon recognition that this extremely important area was missing and after communicating with the NBS Board of Directors, Friends of Nazareth will be partnering to raise the necessary funds to build two new safe rooms to meet the requirement that has been mandated by the Ministry of Education.
We urgently ask that you consider giving to this very important effort to secure the safety of our students and faculty by generously donating to this effort.
